Meaningful mark at $0.288I do not see a wall at 26 cents. It should normally be at 25 cents, a quarter. A rounded number which, like any other rounded number, is a mental obstacle on the way up. So I see some retracement Monday and fooling around the 25 cents mark. Until the penny flippers will finally decide: "Nah, I'll wait for 30 cents to sell, or maybe 35".
While $0.25 is a psychological mark we might spend a little time to go beyond, $0.288 is a more meaningful mark we might otherwise rapidly pass unacknowledged.
If you remember, on March 31, 2021, Nextleaf borrowed the $3 million allowing us to get into the Glacier Gold big aventure. This was a courageous decision which led to today's breakthrough. Nextleaf just started this month repaying this loan at 5% interest. What is more important is that this loan can be converted into shares anytime by the lender at a price of $0.288 per share. And there is also a 3-year warrant allowing the lender to buy up to 6,875,000 shares at this same price of $0.288 a share.
I do not see this as a negative. Should the debt be converted into shares, we find ourselves debt-free with money for further expansion. Should the warrant be exercised, the better. Eventually selling (or not) these new shares on the open market should not rock the boat, while Nextleaf accessing new capital at a reasonable level could prove to be very timely. Another good call, Paul.
