You can say much the same for premarket and post market trading hours at the North American equities markets.
How would you like to think you had X amount of gain going into the end of the day; only to have the various professional market makers, market movers and shakers outright manipulate the share price amongst themselves, in order to steal Y amount from what you thought had been a greatly appreciated share holdings position.
I won't bother going into detail or belaboring the point which can be made with respect to others taking up a short position whilst being allowed to utilize everybody else's shares, in trading directly against everybody else's long position. Institutional money managers and other professioinal traders do so all day long; and many common class shareholders do not know how to simply prevent such manipulation to occurring.
Complaining about such inherent manipulative equities market operating mechanisims does not help; profiting from them may help some people some of the time. Preventing such things from taking place, in doing all you can to take countermeasures, always helps
