Bucco, with all due respect to your pulmonolgist dinner companion with whose frustration and ire we'd all empathise, I think he'd realize on sober reflection that it is not such a good idea. For one he'd be violating his oath to Hippocrates. For another, it would be against the law, yes even in Alberta.
It is sickening to watch these "freedom criers" harrass medical staff in front of hospitals. The very folk who will greet them in the ICU. At least one province, Quebec, has legislated to ban such protest. I wish others will soon follow.
I cannot lose sleep over these anti-vaxxers who have chosen a path of self-extinction. But they have no right to endanger the lives of innocents, especially children who are not yet eligible. Fortunately, before the end of the year, we hope to have approval for at least three vaccines for 1-11 year olds.
There are two specific lies we shouldn't allow to proliferate. The anti vaxx lie is dangerous to our public health. The other, the "stolen election" lie of the trumpistas endangers our democracy. And these folk often play from the same song book.
When I first went long KL and arrived at this site I was aghast to find two voluble and repetitive posters here. After the banishment of one of them and the purge of all his deranged posts there remained only poops2. I put him on ignore and this bb became tolerable for a while. But then, in Galic's phrase the "sh!t show" has resumed.
Some folk it seems are minding each others' backs. I might have to add to my ignore list.
