The Maldives ARISE-P172788 Lot1-Battery Energy storage Systems is a 24,000kW energy storage project located in S. Hithadhoo, S. Hulhudhoo-Meedhoo, Gn. Fuvahmulah, GDh. Thinadhoo, HDh. Kulhudhuffushi, B. Eydhafushi and Lh. Hinnavaru, Maldives. The rated storage capacity of the project is 24,000kWh.

The project was announced in 2021.

The BESS projects are the part of Accelerating Renewable Energy Integration and Sustainable Energy Project (ARISE-P172788) Lot 1. The scope of lot1 includes Supply, Install, Commission, Operate & Transfer of 16MW/16MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) on locations at L. Atoll Islands, Lh. Naifaru, Dh. Kudahuvadhoo, GA. Villingili and Sh. Funadhoo.
