RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Work starts on Hurricane Thanks for your thoughtful post Swingtrader. Some interesting points.
Yeah TSLV are going to need financing, and investors have high hopes for a hit with hole 4. So a miss on this key one will see some disillusionment, a further sell off, and rubbish finance terms coming down the tubes. That's a fact that is hard to ignore.
Though personally, even if that happens, I'm in for the medium to long haul, as you can't really make a sensible judgement before, say, first 12 holes.
Not sure about the bear market sentiment for silver more generally though. Not to say it can't drop a bit further in the short term, but commodities and precious metals have much further to go upwards over the course of the next 12 months and more. And explorers have fallen well behind the metals, so I think the macro has never looked better.
Generalist investors are simply ignoring our sector right now, but there is an inevitability that this will change at some point, probably soon after the equally inevitable big tech sell off.
When that happens JDXJ and silver juniors will soar, probably after they first have an initial drop (similar scenario to April last year). If you have confidence of your ability to time it right, this might be the better entry point. I'm rubbish at timing (as are most active fund managers), so my own strategy is to simply hold firm.
As Rick Rule once said, most of the ten baggers that he has been invested in over his lifetime, have halved in value at some point along that 10X path.
Patience, patience, patience.....
If you owned Auryn, do you hold Sombrero? Thoughts on this one....?
