Both Pfizer and Modern stated that their vaccines give protection for about 1 year and, that they see a comeback to normal life in September to December 2022 however, you will need a yearly vaccine because world will not be vaccinated and new variants will continue to infect people.

The probablilty that the entire USA population will take yearly vaccine shots is NIL.     You will have a certain percentage say maybe 50% however the other 50% will either be too lazy or complacent in their world.

What this will do is trigger another surge in infections next year and the need for more testing. 

This is a revolving cycle that will not end for decades.   It means decades of testing.
