Paul indicated that they are viewing this as a $4 billion NPV project. Based on a 50% of NPV negotiated package, that is at least double the $6 per share bandied about by some.
What if we are in a $2k+ gold environment and well over $5 copper? Bam! Add some more billions to the NPV. Folks, we are in no rush here. I don't want scraps via a quick buyout, I will wait for the figures I am more comfy with.
Seems with the hiring announced today, WRN wants to get recent drilling incorporated into a PFS with updated project profitability and get the ball moved further down the field as far as permittng is concerned.
Bigger project, closer to viability in an friendlier price environment for the metals. Its a win all around for us. How far can we get before RIO (NEM too maybe?) starts to push the issue to seal the deal? Dunno, all I know is that I continue to slowly accumulate.
