My own personal views are that the NASH program should not proceed without a partner, no matter how creative they get in raising funds to do so. If there is a decent chance of success, other companies will be more than willing to validate the program by putting up their own cash. If no one steps forward it would be irresponsible of management to continue given no other company deems the program worthwhile.
