RE:The GlobeHere is the thing Bucco.
the "go IVN go" thing is an attitude. I'd say it's rather normal that you are cheering for the horse you bet on. Not sure why that is a bother or a surprise for you. Having said that, it is irrelevant.
as for the evaluation, there are 2 major aspects you need to consider.
the first is the one that TA has been advertising since the get-go. It is based on pure metrics and rational derived from available reports. Not much you can question in there, as it is in the ball park give or take. On the same token, I understand if you question conclusions related to applied PE figures. That is (in my humble opinion) relative to mines that have longer operational history. Again, with time, I don't see why the same wouldn't apply to IVN.
the second aspect is much more touchy-feely, subjective of each investor, things like geopolitical issues, governance and work economy all play into this equation. Regardless of what we think, the past 5 or so years have clearly shown us that this stock is not a sudden explosion on the TSX. Both individuals and especially institutions tread very carefully most likely of this second aspect I am referring to.
so, if you are looking for numbers, just read back TA's posts from the past years and yo7 will find more that you need. As for the explanation of the current dip, your analysis is as good as anyone's. Evidently the aspects of the my second category overrule the first and there is no smoking gun as to why the market is feeling insecure.
i would also consider the previous comment, that if the major shareholders felt this to be too risky, they wouldn't be planning more development. I guess you'll know for sure in the next few months when NRs come out. Until then, have faith. My gues is that you want be disappointed if you are invested.
just my 2-cents...
