I enjoy learning new things and enjoy sharing those new things with my co-workers. I am an excellent leader and take my job seriously and do it with pride. Currently it is myself and 2 other surveyors we are a three-person survey crew, I am responsible for keeping up and making sure we have 7 day coverage and nothing gets missed. I currently go underground 4-5 times a week doing daily advance, line and grade, and setting lasers for the crew to keep them going the right direction. At any given time we have 6-14 headings and 1-2 stopes going at the same time. I am proficient at managing my time, self-motivated and driven to get the job done safely, efficiently and correctly. I am responsible for the teaching and mentoring of the other 2 surveyors and do all reconciliation, bonus and volume calculations and surveys. I also do weekly ore stockpile and concentrate surveys for reporting to the lenders. I am also working with the Senior Engineer building designs for the underground for monthly and 3 month plans for development.
