RE:Totally lost it.Two things Joe : Forget the past, it is totally irrelevant. Concentrate on the future. Read the presentation read the financials, if there is something you don't understand you will probably find many to help you. Very important is to try to understand the Oil industry. For VET it is the international Industry that is most important. You will need to sift through a lot of noise so start with reliable sources like EIA.GOV. Do not go overboard on any one stock till you feel very confident about what you are doing and where you want to go to. Once you know that forget about the fluctuations. Stock investing in the oil patch can be very perilous, as many here can probably attest
So never get married to an investment. If you find you are wrong accept it and try to learn from it
Personally, I have been thru many ups and downs over many decades in the market. For some strange reason I wouldn't want it any other way!!
