Gold sector is weak

Gold sector is weak

Well our debut south of the border was a non event. I missed most of today's trading but there didn't seem to be anything earth shattering. I'm not exactly surprised by the minor sell off. Yes I would have liked the share price to close higher but I don't get too bent out of shape over day to day fluctuations. The gold sector remains weak with the price of gold down substantially in September.

I'm still very positive on gold and of course New Found Gold. I think we will start to get some encouraging drill results soon that should cause NFG to trend higher. New Found Gold management has executed on everything they said they would do. So I have complete confidence in the company going forward. I regard the current weakness in the gold sector as an excellent buying opportunity.
