AEM and KL Common Theme

AEM and KL Common ThemeRecently bought some KL because its mines are in stable jurisdictions and its stock was acting well--just what I was looking for.

Looked at AEM but didn't like the way the stock was acting. I am now taking a fresh look at the proposed combo.

One thing AEM and KL have in common is that both companies have their operations in stable jurisdictions. That was a key motivation for my purchase.of KL, I think that's a tailwind..

Still bearish on gold (a social metal in a socially-distanced world), and I still think miners are overpriced at these levels. If it turns out KL was being bid up just because of M&A, I will quickly move on. But again it is just what I was looking for--a well-managed gold miner with low political risks.
