RE:RE:Xebec Announces On-site Hydrogen Contract with Turkey-based

RE:RE:Xebec Announces On-site Hydrogen Contract with Turkey-based The article references the need for hydrogen for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and the ability of HyGEAR to provide the Green Hydrogen from RNG using onsite HyGEAR units rather than transporting Green Hydrogen over long distances from Renewable Electricity sites (wind or solar).   They failed to mention, however, that hydrogen will also be used in Class 8 Heavy Duty Trucks using existing Internal Combustion Engines modified to run on hydrogen using HPDI 2.0 from Westport Fuel Systems.  These trucks will be far more economical than hydrogen fuel cell trucks.  The engines are already being mass produced and require a revision of about 15% of the parts to provide the fuel injection system (HPDI 2.0) to enable the engine to run on zero emission hydrogen.  The infrastructure for the production, maintenance, and repair of these engines already exists in the present Automotive Industry.  Using HyGEAR, the green hydrogen can be produced from RNG "on site" at the filling station using existing infrastructure to transport and store the RNG.  Xebec is a leading producer of both RNG and Green Hydrogen.
