RE:It's funny

RE:It's funnySo one believes the news was leaked and the company (admits it with a NR) had to legitimize the run up in the share price so they issue a non-material NR whose impact does not quantify the movement in the share price?

Unlikely.

There have been other times the share price has moved up significantly without a NR the next day.

It would be interesting to know how the stock would have performed today if that news hadn't have been released.....and whether they decided to release the lackluster news 'today' in an attempt to legitimize the rally from yesterday.  It would have been down either way obviously....but I highly doubt it would have been hammered down as quickly if they hadn't released that "Is that all?" news.
