What's the End Game?

What's the End Game?Ian Edwaeds must be a puppet of Caisse or they would have had him and his 8 million dollar salary ousted by now.  Edwards 8 million dollar salary is nowhere near his value to the company and the stock value.  So what is Caisse reason for not getting rid of him?  Can they somehow take over at a reduced price or acquire more shares at a reduced price?  I cannot believe that Caisse would idlely stand by and let their investment fall in value but what is their end game?
