The current 200,000 meter drill program, while large, will only scratch the surface. The drilling of Queensway will take years and hundreds of millions of dollars. By the time it is drilled it will look like a piece of Swiss Cheese and many of us will have passed on. Those of us still here will be long in the tooth and may not be able to enjoy
our gains. There's no point in having a pot of money if you can't enjoy it! So, really, the message is if you are getting on in years, as many of us are, take your profits when you can and enjoy them. Forget about holding on for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow because it's a long way off. Looking back I had no idea this was the direction my post would take when I began typing. I thought about deleting it but changed my mind. And of course you may not agree. But that is alright.
I don't think it will take as long as you think to see some substantial gains for NFG. There will be some pleasant surprises along the way and eventually a major gold producer will take out NFG at a much higher level or they will develop it themselves. Yes it will take several years if not ten plus years of drilling to properly drill the entire property and they still won't find the outer limits of all the gold.
As you point out it is a huge gold system and the vertical component of it will be proven to be very deep and that will take a long time to prove with drilling. What NFG has to do is show the investment community more high grade jewelry boxes at the same time keep adding on to the ones they already have. Drill baby drill!!! Eventually NFG shareholders will be well rewarded just like Kirkland Lake shareholders were with Fosterville. Still very early days for the Queensway discovery and the New Found Gold story.
