Been thinking about why we bother to hang around this board, since we know that this company has been a colossal failure, with multiple Failures and abysmal execution, and the board itself is populated by pumpers that continue to put forth inane, and often nonsensical inaccurate , and repetitive information.
Initially, it was the follow-through of the story, because as we saw what was happening and documented it-there is a part that wants to validate and do a victory lap.
It’s also been fun to touch base with a group of guys, who are like-minded, and it’s been a bit of a virtual hang out, during the pandemic.
I think it is also been a bit of a gong show, and fun to watch what’s happening-like watching a train wreck....
I also feel that there is a bit of a public service aspect to it, as newbies won’t get sucked in and fleeced, as long as there are people that can point out the facts.
Its actually driven me to follow a few stocks I have no interest in, as pumpers here have tried to promote stocks on other sites(they end up getting me-an unintended nand unwelcome side effect)
But I think for me what is one of the most valuable parts now, is what we gain by Rationally fighting back against misinformation, when that part of our reptilian brain is driven by greed, because we know how pumpers manipulate stocks, and misrepresent. Staying here, helps us to fight off greed, by rationally evaluating what people are saying, and ultimately makes us a better investor.
i may not be learning much from a fundamental/mathematics approach-but I have improved my behavioural approach to investing.
For those who still have skin in the game with this stock, yet are completely honest about it, is a sign of integrity, where many will continue to try to pump according to the greater fool theory.
milman and Big Mac fall in that category now-and I salute you.
(I think jagpug and myself are out?)
