RE:RE:RE:RE:Let me try and help you BuckyI also think the eventual combination of AEM and KL will be good for both companies. I also believe that the deal is better and more important for AEM, which is experiencing a major downtrend, than it is for Kl which is in an uptrend.
I think KL shareholders deserve a small premium for their debt free cash and increasing gold reserves and 1% is not it.
I can see why AEM shareholders would not like to pay more but too bad this is a KL board and in the end I have KL votes and AEM shareholders do not, no matter what they think.

Buc sold his shares and bought AEM (according to him)
His presence here is suspect and I take every he says with a shaker of salt.

You personally are not a KL shareholder?????
All that bla bla bla...........
Well mebe you havent been here long enough then. I enjoyed the kl run up a few yrs ago and like the company. Sold near the peak and have been in and out of kl, aem, and abx on occaison over the last 2 yrs. Generally speaking though I dont really care for gold anymore because there are too many factors that influence it ranging from political to financial and monetary policy, fear, greed, all in addition to normal supply and demand forces. So thats the story. I like both aem and kl and think the merger is a good thing.
There you have it. Nothing Machevellian about me.
