The arbitration award was supposed to put the whole issue to rest. Stans/funders got around $25 mill and Krygyz got its properties back formally.
However, there is no settlement. Different courts have done nothing to actually settle any monies awarded in this saga. The money that may eventually be ‘negotiated’ will be well below the original award amount. Stans will get nothing.
Stans signed off on the facility some years ago (either as worthless or valueless – same thing to Stans as their access is gone). Again, they have signed over any monies from any future settlement to the funders, who presently chase their own tails.
Neon Mining is co headquartered in Krygyz and according to their website they are now going direct to the Krygyz gov’ for Kutessay II (with no Stans involvement). However, they seem to have more interest in their copper and gold project. Further, where they would get the money from to do anything with a REE project is anyone’s guess.
Bottomline, Stans I believe is long over Krygyz which has brought the company to its knees. What is that old saying about 'what represents the height of folly?' Likewise, the Russian lithium venture was lost under more license verification issues.
If there is any future for Stans it lies in some other endeavors situated elsewhere.
