Nd isotopes: 2019

Nd isotopes: 2019Neodynium, is one of the highest volume REE's.

" We present a detailed geochemical study of a 500 m thick sequence of metabasalts that represents the very beginning of magmatism in the Coldwell complex. We demonstrate that processes of contamination or crystallization or subsequent metasomatism cannot explain the variations of trace elements. Rather, we propose that partial fusion in a source in the metasomatized subcontinental lithospheric mantle explains the decoupling of the behavior of lithophilic elements with large ionic radius from that of light rare earths and heavy rare earths, and the decoupling of the behavior of rare earths from that of elements with strong atomic bond, as well as the enriched signature of Nd isotopes of metabasaltes"

If end up with multiple shallow, open-pit projects & a W-Horizon, that are giving off multiple types of PGM's, copper, nickel, REE's & who knows what else, would easily become a world-wide, top mine. Everything produced, green concentrate. Glta!!
