It's a pretty hard sell to tell the world Line 5 should exist when all one has to do is turn on the 6 'o'clock news and look at the devistation the California leak has caused.
Images of oil covered dolphins, and pelicans so crude laden they can no longer fly, gives Whitmer all the ammo she needs.
As a shareholder, of course I want Line 5 to stay operational, BUT watching what's happening in California tells me there's no fcuking way a pipeline should run underwater. It's just a bonehead idea.
Personally, I still think there's a reasonable chance Whitmer will succeed in shuttering Line 5....
