I am surprised that there have not been any comments on this web cast...
Copper world is 2/3 (and will grow) the size of Rosemont with a lower strip ratio and cost to get the ore out of the ground.
All on private land which includes a portion of the Rosemont find.
Will take two to three years to permit, only state approvals required. They have indicated that the permitting process has already started and some of the work done on Rosemont can be transferred to this revised mine plan.
Three years to build the mine...
So during this six/seven year period cash balance will be growing... No partner required
They also will be moving the Mason project ahead and have drill bits in the ground around historical finds in Peru (near their current Mill). Politics in Peru have cooled down as the government needs the mines for tax revenue and Hudbay has always maintained a social investment agenda in Peru even before the current government.
DOES THIS NOT SCREAM TAKE OUT... How much? At $4 per pound
Does this not scream
