The "plunge protection team" doesn't only juice up the markets, it slams the brakes on any positive runaway in the gold price. The optics of a gold price going up leaps and bounds would
undermine the FED and expose their lies. It would be too risky to have the ultimate inflation indicator going berserk with inflation as high as it is now. The FED would lose control.
