RE:RE:RE:Ever wonder what happens when 85% of Alberta is vaxxed? Helluva good post, Nukester.
You're not alone in your assessment.
I've come to the realization that most people will get this virus at some point in time, and it's up to their immune system to deal with it.
The shots from pharma may reduce severity of symptoms and help to alleviate pressure on our healthcare systems but they are not going to stop transmission.
It is up for debate who and what people would benefit from vax shots.
Around there world there are many who will be vulnerable to the virus in any of its forms, vaccinated or not.
From some fact digging, I have concluded that those who suffered from pre-existing health conditions and are over the age of 50 are most likely to be hospitalized from covid and deaths have struck those who are over the age of 80 with more than 3 pre-existing health conditions.
At some point human covid virus becomes a risk we all have to live with, as you said.
Thank you

In fact mass vaccinations (with a leaky vaccine) are the prime suspect in the creation of the numerous variants (Delta etc.) not to mention "Antibody-Dependent Enhancement" (Pro tip: You want to look "ADE" up :-)
If vaccinations were the solution, than break-through infections among the vaccinated would be virtually non existent, (Not the case, review the Singapore, Israel, etc data). Vaccinations are at best a short term tool to lower extreme outcomes of the disease. (Not exactly a noble argument when one reviews the adverse reaction data globally vs. age related survability, long story).
Vaccinations are also a tool being used by political actors hoping to increase power and wealth (Let no crisis go to waste), as well as a tool of corporate leaders hoping to restore cash flows and rebuild balance sheets etc.
While I too hope this nightmare ends and Gamehost starts paying divvy's, I am unable to agree that history will show vaccinations to have played a definitive role in ending the pandemic. In my opinion, this pandemic will end the old fashioned way. After millions of deaths among the weakest in society, the virus will mutate itself into something humanity can live with. (not very cheerful or poetic, but realsitic).
Your mileage may vary :-)
Cheers,
