RE:bloody hell im at breakevenI always find it interesting that so many investors fail to factor dividends into the equation. ENB may be at the same price that it was in Oct 2017 but during that time an investor would have collected $9.37 in divys per share.
I know that looks bad compared to many other stocks but it sure beats the h*ll out of a GIC.
Also, you did have a bit of bad timing if you bought in 2017 so it is sort of worst case scenario for ENB. (other than those poor guys that got in in April 2015)
As I've mentioned on other boards, even with the huge run-up in midstream this year, it still is my favourite sector of the sectors we invest in. Probably more upside in oil & gas producers but we steer clear of them and any direct commodity related stocks.
