RE:RE:bloody hell im at breakevenHe Sarge, I agree to a point. I am a LONG time holder of Enbridge and have added on weakness over the years. Since I was originally buying in the highlow teens and low 20s I am pretty happy. Despite that, they sure do not have an impressive SP growth over the past 6 years. Yes a guy earns a very good dividend, but that is effectively all of the return becasue with the exception of buying dips, you made no money in buy and hold. If they get anywhere close to 60 I plan to sell all of it and wait for a LARGE price drop to MAYBE buy back in. Think I woulld rather hold TRP as a longterm bet, ENB just gets into far too much legal and PR problems.

I know that looks bad compared to many other stocks but it sure beats the h*ll out of a GIC.
Also, you did have a bit of bad timing if you bought in 2017 so it is sort of worst case scenario for ENB. (other than those poor guys that got in in April 2015)
As I've mentioned on other boards, even with the huge run-up in midstream this year, it still is my favourite sector of the sectors we invest in. Probably more upside in oil & gas producers but we steer clear of them and any direct commodity related stocks.
