Noranda Income Fund is a Canadian based income trust. The fund owns the electrolytic zinc processing facility and ancillary assets located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec. It produces refined zinc metal and by-products from sourced zinc concentrates. The fund's long-term objective is to maximize unitholder value and provide monthly distributions to unitholders.

In and now Out - Will watch Noranda from sidelines

In and now Out - Will watch Noranda from sidelines Well - if you would believe it - I am now out of Noranda. I bought last week at $.96 and immediately set a sell order for $1.16; a price that much to my surprise was hit today.....on its way higher. Stupid sell move aside (it was stupid), I am going to sit on the sidelines here with my handsome little profit. I am going to try to play the inflation trade another way....pipelines, gold or silver maybe. I believe that TC charges are heading higher, and the Nystar news today was positive; as was the September zinc inventory report. However, zinc smelter production from China in September was higher than I thought it would be and the end users of zinc are starting to cut back as their supply chains get snarled. See you guys if this gets below $1....maybe? Hope for the longs sake it goes to $3.
