RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:dragonfly454 - question for youHi Dirk,
I have no idea about their current MW on Kawa as I (we) do not have any information from the rig. This being said, given that so many posts refer to Surinam B58, I have no problem stating that the well I was referring to in yesterday's post was a B58 well that they are about to test and it holds with 1.34SG (11.2ppg) brine at TD.
A bit of an unconventional design in the sense that they have a 13-5/8" by 14" intermediate string and the production string, a 9-7/8", is a liner, not a casing... Given that this is an exploration well it must be designed to withstand the load case known as "full displacement to gas" and it was confirmed to me that they took the liberty of installing a production liner because that 14" (I haven't asked but probably a 110ksi & 114ppf pipe) withstands gas to surface from that reservoir, which is normal given that it is 1.34SG (minus safety margin of some sort). They are targeting light oil apparently.
So, if there is any analogy / conclusions to be drawn for our well, be my guest :)
GLTA,
