TOC closes at $1.01 on about 80,000 shares. Another solid day of trading for TOC, closing at $1.01. What is very encouraging is that TOC has traded over 318,000 shares in the last three days, no doubt more speculators are starting to buy back in as we get closer to several potential events. No need to talk about them as I am sure everyone knows by now (trench, bulk tests, El Picacho exploration, and drilling at Pilar, where is the feeder system?).
I did, however, wanted to mention about the potential spinout of free shares discussed in their press release on September 30.
.....".... Under the terms of the proposed plan of arrangement, Tocvan shareholders are to receive one common share of Cascade Copper for every six shares held of Tocvan....."..... I am the type of person that thinks in terms of round numbers, so to own 60,000 shares of TOC, one would get 10,000 shares of the new company (120,000 shares nets 20,000 free shares). I suspect this would give a nice starting position from which one can buy more once the new company starts trading.
So the question is, will the new company be worth anything? Do your own due diligence but I believe this represents an exciting ground floor opportunity. Below is the work history at Rogers Creek.... nice base from which to start from. I wonder how long before they get approvals to proceed? Rogers Creek historic work summary:
