RE:Good to see you back, HH.Thanks, Bb - I've been here all along, and have been glad to see the comments from some newer voices making increasing contributions here (always appreciating the quality over quantity). I myself largely haven't had much that I felt was worthy of adding/sharing to the comments already made, but am keeping a sharp eye for developments on the permitting and Well 3 litigation front. I hope other relative "old timers" are still luking and waiting for more significant new information to come to light before resurfacing.
Yes, I think someone posted a while back about the director indendence requirements for a Nasdaq listing. From what I recall, I believe that means DME needs a majority of its board member to not have been officers/employees of the company within the last few years (I think our board is dominated by the executives currently). Sadly, Dr. Ward may be the only director who qualifies as "indepdendent" at the moment. I tihnk we also would be required to have some independent direcors that also meet financial expertise requirements to serve key roles on the require audit committee, compensation committee and corporate governance committee - though "independent", Dr. Ward patently fails to possess the qualifications for any of these.
In short, it seems that DME will need a largely re-constituted board of directors before it can apply for uplisting. With all of the potential here, it cannot be that difficult for DME to recruit well qualified individuals. It would be quite appropriate for Dr. Ward to be politely asked to step down as part of that necessary undertaking. If Dr. Ward isn't able/willing to pay to exercise her options at such time (or better yet such options haven't even vested) - and her options are then forfeited - then perhaps her (hopefully) temporary appointment to the board is not as costly a mistake as it currently seems (her options appear pretty rich for her role here).
Sincere apologies to anyone (including anyone at DME) who I might offend in my comments/perspectives regarding Dr. Ward and her value/liability here. I'm just trying to share my views with respect to the best interests of the company - though perhaps I'll cast some blame DM for triggering me with his comments about Dr. Ward in his recent interview. :)
