SP surging this past week yet

SP surging this past week yetno news for three months and POG isn't the catalyst - its dropping ... so????  Wasssup!!! News leak, takeover rumour or behind the scenes promotion activity to deeper pockets?

Not that I'm complaining, I just like to know why its moving.
