Got through the first 30 minutes. Had to stop.Wowsa, Ma-puke sure uses a whole lotta words to say nothing. Why KL needed to burden itself with AEM is beyond me. KL future production outlook is/was stellar. Fully cashed and could have acquired anyone/anything that they could have applied existing KL know-how to develop into a Detour/Macassa etc. etc. etc. But noooooooo........ He was not content to build and develop the existing company/infrastructure. To what end Ma-puke? Oh yeah.........synergies. Bad news for you Tony, you will be dead before any of the synergies will be realized. In a few years, Business Schools will be using this improperly thought out and stupidly executed arrangement as to how not to manage corporate assets. Personally, I have a dilemma. Not only do I, and my spouse, hold a big slug of KL, we also own GDX which has exposure to both KL and AEM. Might need a clean sweep to add to GDXJ and SILJ. Sheesh. I have seen some boneheaded moves in my time. This one seems to be right up there.
