For some time I've expressed the POV that the IPA campaign on the SRI patents is a major event for QTRH. In addition to the Amazon action in court, one also needs to keep an eye on parallel-filed actions against Google and Microsoft. IPA has had both wins and losses at the PTAB and these decisions are now at the CAFC. I don't believe that dates have been set for oral hearings at the CAFC. However, on balance IPA has fared better than both Google or Microsoft at the PTAB. As usual, as you observe, the market gives QTRH zero future value.
v_g, I'm uncertain that IPA is seeking enhanced damages due to willfulness. I reviewed the compaliant and while it speaks, forcefully, to willfulness several times in the text, it does not ask for enhanced damages in the Prayer for Relief section of the complaint. However, they are asking for an injunction.
