RE:Kentor Gold Corporate Presentation Burnakura 2012On slide 4 of the 2012 corporate presentation, you can clearly see Kentors drill inter secting high grade lodes below the original Alliance pit and dipping to the east and open at strike.
Grades of 23 gms per ton clearly show that the drill is intersecting muktiple high grade veins and their lower grade halos.
The same basement lodes are found dipping below the original pit and open at strike at NOA 7/8.
Recent but very limited drilling by MMY confirms that this basement lode rock lies beneath all of these pits and may form a continuous lode deeper down.
Reading through the historic docs including those of MMY there is reference to the possible existence of a Super pit connecting the basement lodes of all of these Alliance and NAO pits.
A super pit provides economies of size without going underground where mining is more expensive.
Essentially, just cutting back the walls ( as Kentor shows in slide 4) and deepening the floors to mine the basement lode all along its footing.
There are several super pits in WA which can be viewed by googling.
Drilling of these Alliance pits and NAO pits is going to be very exciting as we already know that the basement lode exists underneath each pit down down to at least 200 m..
