RE:RE:RE:TeslaGood exchange of perspectives. Agreed, we are all here to make money and
profit from whatever information we can glean from each others posts. That is
the intent and the spirit of these forums. I love it when this happens and cringe
whenever it erodes into personal vendettas or pettiness.
Some seem to post more for ego gratification and like to attract attention. The best
posts are courteous and informative. I don't even mind negative or posts that
question the validity of assumptions as long as they fit into that category. I learn
as much from those as I learn from positive and supportive ones. If one needs
thanks or acknowledgement from others, I would say their focus is wrong. The
need for self validation is superseding the need contibuting info for the benefit of all.
Saying that, its not a bad thing to say thanks or give someone a pat on the back
for their work if you are impressed or benefited from them. Its nice but not a
requirement.
