RE:RE:Best of luck to longs and calm down StarSearcher Yoda, my calling you "baby Yoda" was purported to be endearing, not derisive. Don't take it the wrong way! Name one person who doesn't think baby Yoda is overwhelmingly adorable? (*simpering*)
I'm glad you're doing well. I always feel happy when people do well--even the people who are total strangers to me. This can mean an early retirement (like yours), paying off their mortgage, sending their kids to college etc. When somebody's life is changed for the better, it feels very uplifting to me.
I am not disputing the fact that you're an exemplary investor. But you sold at $17 because you were afraid the SP would dip to $5 again, like it did the first time. There was no chance anybody could have predicted the true value of the company or the overall market. It was very chaotic. I'm not saying this to jar you, but to prove my point that no matter how adept we are, we're all humans and are incorrigible when it comes to our emotion. Think about the sleepless nights you went through when you could have made several millions more just by hanging on to your share a few months longer. We're only talking about the potential gains we investors could have made. Here we have people who are actually losing their savings. Think about their pain.
Tweed has made some questionable moves in the past. They're working hard on righting the ship. I wish that with new management and strategy overhaul, the company will soon be on its way to profitability.
I wish you all the best!
