First they pushed for the killing of the Keystone pipeline, which was substantially complete, and would have been a great benefit to both the US and Canada.
Then they were on to compaignimg against the western Canada tar sands, ops oil sands in the north, as a major source of world pollution. And the kicker is that they wanted to shut down the pipeline between Michigan and Ontario and even got the radical governor of Michigan to order it closed - even though it has been safely operated for decades under Lake Michigan. Thankful a US treaty with Canada prohibits local interference with national issues - at least theorhetically. And then there are a few more instances. But you get the picture.
