Crypto vs. Gold

Crypto vs. GoldA question: is cryptocurrency the new inflation hedge? Or just another inflation hedge akin to precious metals?

I would love to hear holders' opinion on the dichotomy cryptocurrency vs. gold. If it is complementary, gold stocks might only be starting to see a pick up based on an actual/physical pick up of gold demand.
