RE:To buy or not to buy?Profitable trading isn't "fun" most of the time. It's a LOT of waiting at the bottom for the market sentiment to turn. Usually in the red for much of it - since NO ONE can accurately call the bottoms.
Develop a plan. Stick to your plan. Patience is rewarded handsomely - you must stick with exceptionally good companies though.
If your ONLY two choices are BTO or VET, then I'd go with BTO. Lots of other fish in the sea, mind you. Full disclosure, I'll be selling my BTO shares soon as it is very near my profit target and moving on to something else (probably TCL.A) for the high-risk portion of my portfolio.
