China buying Canadian lithium or rare / strategic minerals

China buying Canadian lithium or rare / strategic mineralsHonestly.
Now that the 2 Michaels are sleeping in their beds, I really think that the government of Canada is going to paint a big X on a deal that involves a Chinese company getting control of strategic minerals in Canadian soil.

Offers can be made.  Shareholders can get all giddy.
I can only imagine the pressure there is to NOT LET China control the present and the future of electrification of the auto sector.  The PR mess that goes along with chastizing them and then allow China to walk in and buy up minerals here and lock up the supply side more than they already have.

I love foreign investment.
I don't love Chinese foreign investment.
I think the Feds should just say No and not even No Thank You!
