RE:No way of knowing

RE:No way of knowingGiven it has been stated that Hygear is leading the consortium, this is a very important event. Regardless of the share of budget they get, they would be coordinating the whole project and have the best view of the technology and how it fits together.

The input would be pure CO2 i would guess. While there are industrial processes that provide CO2 as a waste stream, the real potential market would be in future CO2 air capture projects, such as the one being done in British Columbia by Carbon Engineering and also one in Iceland, IIRC.

I formerly worked with the head of Carbon Engineering who has stated that the world will be awash with CO2 from such projects in the future, when air capture begins to take hold. This project to produce liquid fuels from CO2 could be the basis of a whole new stream of activities for XBC, or even a whole spin off company if there is value in that kind of a deal.
