RE:RE:Prayer services will resume todayIn my experience, we'll get positive news after a halt IF it comes within a reasonable amount of time, preferably within a week or two max. If the halt persists for weeks and months, then this is a red flag for me.
Having said that, positive or negative sentiment depends on market expectation and having a clear and unfiltered understanding of what that marekt expectation is at any given time is the essence of stocking investing. On the venture in particular where the majority of stocks do not have quantifiable fundementals, market expecation is the key priciing mechanism, IMO.
So, what is the market expectation of SNV now?
There are 3 scenarios:
Scanario A: Very Positive
Anything to do with the continuation of Selat Panjang with SNV involvement, be it with new or old JV.
Scenario B: Positive
Selat Panjang is dead. An annoucement of a new venture, including PP with management participation to lend credibility to the new venture.
Scenario C: Negative
Finacial and legal oligations, including monies owed to JV partner can not be met leading to Insolvancy. And/or the comapny is involved in a legal battle over Selat Panjang.
How does any one of these scenarios fit into the halt timeline narrative?
Good luck to all sharteholders!
