Deadsville

DeadsvilleIf you want to live in a town where they roll up the sidewalks at dark come to White River.Actually there are no sidewalks lol. Can't even go for a coffee at Robin's.It closes at 730.Unreal.Great place to live you you like hunting and fishing but other than that there is not much to do.All the prior social activities have faded away.Things just ain't what they used to be and that change seems to be permanent. No more dances,bingos,hockey,baseball,curling.Nada.It used to be hopping with social activities  but those days are gone.It was a sad day when the Green Gables was demolished.R.I.P Marco, the iconic bartender.Comb over and red vest.Gone but not forgotten.Cheers
