Not that I expect you to admit it, but I imagine now that you've checked you're probably pretty pissed at yourself for making such a bone-headed mistake. It happens to all of us. All jokes aside, always do that quick check and rely on the great cognitive scaffolding that is the internet so you limit those 'oops' moments. It was a well fought battle but your weakness was in the background; not just for this mistake but the others as well. It really pays to make sure so don't neglect the legwork, even (especially?) in banters like this. Have a good night and maybe we'll cross swords again.
