RE:RE:OREA and the Nordgold Montagne d'Or mess. A fair question Zeffirin.
I have been in Columbus Gold/OREA for a long time and post regularly here. Much of the information I reference builds on my previous posts, so, e.g., I have in the past cited C of Arb’ cases such as South American Silver which went 6 plus years and ended up with sunken costs only. However, after funders commission and expenses these decimated that award and gave shareholders a pennies per share return.
Further, after years Stans Energy also got basically sunken costs, but because of the legal expenses, etc., that ended up with zero for shareholders!
Gold Reserve has been in an around 13-year battle for their C of Arb ¾ bill $ award (total around a billion). While they did get around ¼ bill paid for their mine data which was separate from the award it seems they are still now no closer to collecting the actual 3/4 bill C of Arb award amount.
All I am saying is don’t pin your hopes on a windfall collection day on the C of Arb. Hope this helps clarify.
PS - I try not to be too full of fluff.
