Lurk & Learns + Proselenes:

While we might not all (vis a vis the ADVFN "cry downers" aka whiners and resident AIM cry babies) be appreciative of your "blue sky" for TXP; for some/those with a longer "horizon", IMHO  it's perfectly ok to think in terms of "what ifs". Other business use the "dreams of the upside" e.g. multiple widgetes, offshore manufacturing, etc to enchnce their bottom lines; but alas if someone even mentions possible upside, some are quick to point out "Trinis propensity for delays"... now if they only mention some of the real life constraints they might come to understand the EHS challenges facing the employees and contractors alike. There is a reason you play cricket in the dry season & football in the wet season. Not to mentions uses a steelband to keep track of Block ownership, especially when extrapolationg the Columbus, Guyaguayare to Ortoire etc. Marcelle, etc.

Point being, TXP's approach is diametrically opposed (as per the many articles), to the business plan of the early producers (Texaco & Shell)  was for a plethora of shallow wells follwed up with enhanced oil recovery (EOR).

Touchstone appears to be taking another approach (as suggested by Pro) big (deeper horizons, Herrera, Karamat & Craetaceous) with minimal production "straws". Weighted avarage cost (optimization), from treasury or "access to funds" or GF ..... "shorters delight"....hmmmmm.

Environmental footprint for starters...not to mention (Pro's) BLUE SKY. Of course there is always a chance that the ADVFN naysayers might be proven right in the long term; however, when a company has established a base/sustainable cash flow (Cascadura 1 & deep, Complex) proximal (speaking here of deeper paleo depositional targets and contiguous blocks), puts TXP in a envious position.

A review of the Energy Minister's  presentation to the Senate last Monday, saw him make mention of TXP BY NAME. Meaning that the TXP stratregy, wrt deeper targets, represents an offshore strategy...ON SHORE (-5X re offshore)...and yes BLUE SKY. Has regulatory buy in. Helps to "mamaguy" (aka engage) elected officials once in a while with an active participation in (say) triggering a signal and a recording truck visit to review the geophone response.

Is TXP Part of the Big Push Needed for the Survival of the T & T Energy Sector?

BWDIK? No guts, no glory. But a nervous group might be running out of excuses (aka cover) to relieve the fringe (short term) investors of thier shares. And maybe, they might be targeting the person making (allegegedly outlandish) statements of his "blue sky" suppositions, and using/equating  KPB's October "revolution" to a FAILED January 6th event.

GLAP - GLTAL - Caveat emptor

Cheers
Stanley
