What has happened to SP after earnings

What has happened to SP after earningsI wrote about this previously about how sometimes those who like to short a thinly traded stock  like to short after excellent earnings to con fuse the small retail investor and this has happened to ALA in the past  but then within a few days or weeks they stock price resumes an upward march - higher than before.

I looked at several recent earnings reports for ALA the day before, the day after and a few weeks after and I found that there was always a time soon after earnings when stocks were higher in recent quarters:  ( I eliminated April  of 2020 due to pandemic)
For example  ER date: Feb 26   $19:29  - March 16 $21.33
or ER date: April 30th - $ 22.38 - May 10th  $24.24
and even July 29 ER date:- $26.31   - August 5 - $26.63

Even if you bought at the close of those earning sdates and sold on the highs following your profits would be very nice... It also shows the long term trend is up as strong Earnings go up and  debt to EBIDA go down. I see no reason for the trend to change unless interest rates soar.
