I appreciate what your saying but the company you cite as analogy is marketing the products they sell direct to consumer. Sure, Best Buy runs direct to consumer ads to in the hopes of selling more televsions. I don't see them running adds to sell their stock.
And yes there has been an increase of companies marketing their stock directly to retail investors, AMC is a great example. I am not opposed to marketing to retail, but I would expect a company to spend more time and resources marketing to the institutions which in turn will recommend their stocks to investors.
I think Rosehill's comments are right. Love it or hate it Probe is not going to change the way it markets the stock to retail. Yes, a bigger focus there probably would push the stock up a few percentage points. It totality I believe in Probe and the management team and will continue to hold my shares in spite of their lack of focus on the retail investor.
