Thoughts about the "exit day"...Folks,
If there is a find (it is still a matter of if, let's not forget), very naturally many of us will be tempted to sell. I repeat as usual, I'm not knowledgeable about the stock market but I've seen a few successful exploration wells over my career. The same thing happens all the time, human nature, on the D day, when the market opens, many newcomers buy, the price goes up, of course, but there are always very strong falls within the first hour or so because for a good bunch of people it's a cathcartic moment after a long wait and they sell very quickly.
I came to appreciate this community over the last months and I have sincere admiration for the real real longs who have been here for 2 decades, therefore my 2 cents that I express well in advance while we are all still pretty cold-headed (are we?) is at least to wait for an hour or two before the exit and not let some daytrader of sorts, without any emotional connect to this stock, pocket an extra 10% that you could have made.
Anyway, it's none of my business, everybody is responsible for their own shares, certainly. But you may wanna have a look at the evolution of the share price on major finds of small companies within the first day after the announcement before taking any decision (and maybe you will find out that I'm wrong, which I will be happy to hear, I do not pretend to have seen all high-impact exploration wellss SP behaviour after the announcement and maybe the set of examples I saw biased my view and womeone here comes with a substantiated counter argument).
Anyway, good luck with their strategy to all those who intend to sell on that day if it is a find, I hope all the longs maximize the value they get. For myself, if Kawa is a find I intend to wait the results of the second well but this is just a personal decision/opinion, everybody's circumstances are different.
GLTA,
